So anyone getting these races? Any way of hooking me up?

 

We have limited viewing of the races and will not be scheduled live from what I cann see from Sky but 30 minute or an hour report in the evening. I unfortunately do not have the technology to record them onto the computer to post them for you.

Can anyone help out ???

 

I'm sure fractureman said he might be able to. Unfortunately, my vid cap card is fooked

 

My plan was to record the M&M coverage onto DVD using my recorder, then rip the DVD to AVI or MPEG on the PC and post up links to the races from my webspace.

I'll give the process a go now and check the schedules for the TV coverage on Sky and post them up later and update the post.

 

If you have Statellite it may be worth checking out BBC2 Northern Ireland they are having some sort of coverage over the week (channel 962) What a bummer I'm of to Spain for a week with me M8's and no stat to watch but I've got the wife trying to tape some of it. :shrug

Can someone point me in the direction of some free software that I can use to rip the coverage off the DVD into either mpeg or divx I have the divx codec installed but all the software I've found has to be paid for

 

Not found any free software that actually works. Dr DivX is $25 or so, works well, and there's a free demo to download.

 

Right well I've got the software I need, cheers Embryo for the Dr Divx pointer.

Unfortunetly there was no Superbike race (aka formula 1) or Sidecar A today as the weather intervined, all that was shown was a quick into with the riders and a re-run of the formula 1 race from 2004. I've recorded it so could post up a link if you fancy watching stuff from last year TravR6.

The races will be run tommorow so I'll post up the races after they are shown, however this isn't till about 9-10pm UK time so it will be late on before I get it up on the web.

M&M aren't showing the sunday races until monday night as there is no programe on tonight (sunday), I'll get the races up on the web on Monday night for everyone to download.

I've encoded the preview show onto a 96mb avi file but I can't get it up onto my web pages as I'm having problems with the server at the minute, as soon as I do I'll get a link to the show up.
