Okay, maybe im just a newb, and i hope thats what it is, but here goes my problem.
So i have a 2000 R6 with the ugly tail light, and i got a rumble imports tail light that i was swapping out today. So i get it all hooked up, no problems, but then when i am putting the tail back on the bike i realize that i have no brake lights.
On closer inspection this is the problem. When you turn the ignition on, both filaments of the tail lights light up (the low/high output for running/braking lights). So when you hit the brake there is no difference, because the lights are lit up like you are braking already.
I know for sure that my tail lights worked last night, and I didnt do anything with the wiring or with the bulbs. Anybody know what could be wrong?????
