i hit 174 on my speedo of my 03 r6 for 20 min

yeah, i've read actual top speed is only about 156 speedos are always off in error in plus terroritry

I have had my 06 up to 172 and I think she had a little left in her, but someone stole a bunch of parts off my bike so I never got another chance to go again.

I did 296 that in Mp/h is 183.93 bouncing of the rev limiter in 6th gear i have micron pipe and Bmc air filter and totaly removed smog piping and read valves and a li'l work on the filter Box and Ram ! :thumbup

My FZ6's top speed is listed as 143mph....but i've gotten the speedo up to 158mph....DOT only requires a speedo to be accurate up to 70mph, because there are no speed limits above that in the US.

That is incorrect, there are speed limits of 75 and 80 in the US

hellos this my first post WOOT WOOT!!!
last summer i hit 168 with my bone stock 05 r6 on the MN audubon by my house and had grand left in rpms anyways just got a yoshi tcr slip-on and PC3 and WILL try hook up friends GTech and a cam to bike and then will find out how fast she gose DAMIT its gonna be 168 or faster to prove u downers and will post the vid in summer

on my 07 r6, first day i had it, 170mph "indicated" with about a 1000-1500 rpm left. obviously factory speedo is inacurate. just wanted to see how fast it'd roll. haven't been that fast since. on an 06 cbr600rr i did 172mph "indicated" with about a grand left on the tach before rev out. stock gearing on both. btw, i did this at an undisclosed location with no traffic.

what ive hit as well...but without the mods.....and now even faster with them and the gearing so i know the speedo is way off lol....

revlimiter 183 indicated....lookin for another gear....but no

183.93 on a r6 = a load of crap...

stock the fastest ive seen was 174 mph on the speedo...with my -1 front sprocket i seen 177 mph.....im pretty sure niether of those speeds were correct...

I can't believe no one here has that yellow accuracy box .... but anyway, top speed should be between 150-160 give or take.

guys, im SICK of you guys posting top speeds... if you wanna go faster get an r1.. we all know what the R6 is for... even though you can hit 270kmh and 100kmh in 3.2seconds (burning the clutch)
