hold reset and select at the same time.

 

will this also make the bike go from km/h to mph?? are you sure that you dont just have to buy a speedo gauge just for km/h?? im asking this becuase i purchased a gauge cluster off of ebay and its in km/h and i need mph. I couldn't figure out how to get it to mph. peca77 if it turns out you need a new cluster holler at me....

 

no need for a new cluster. They can be changed from MPH to KPH and vice versa. Read the manual.

 

man i looked everywhere in the manual....i just tried holding select and reset...got nothing??

you should just have to hold select and reset but i've heard the canadian bikes won't allow you to swith to mph, which i think is pretty stupid but i know the us bikes will switch by holding both buttons in for a few seconds.

True that the Canadian clusters don't have this feature.

The procedure is simple and is outlined in both the owner's manual and the shop book.

 

o well that blows...i was hoping i could have got this thing to read in mph. one of the reasons ebay sucks
