Anyone know how loud (decibel wise) a stock exhaust is on an '03? I was thinking about doing a trackday @ Laguna but they have a 92db limit.

The stock exhaust is very docile and quiet!

 

if you run laguna or infineon just use your stock exhaust

 

I am sure stock is quiet enough...also at what distance do they measure that 92 rating?

 

Is it not stamped into the can? On every Suzuki I've worked on, it is written on the inside of the can where it can't be easily seen. I thought this was a US law that the muffler had to say this. The 04 GSX-R 600 can I have sitting in front of me says "80 dB".

Deez, I think it's 50 feet but I'm not 100% sure.

Danimal, if I had a stock can I'd tell you for sure but I don't even have one.

they actually do, they just dont really enforce it
