Cadwell is an awesome track, been there a fre times and back on the 15th April for the 1st visit of the year. Its actuially not that scary just a hell of a lot of fun

 

where you been speedy?? not seen you for a while.

That looks great fun. I would love a go at that sometime.

I wonder what bike the fella's on though, it doesn't seem to go much. I reckon it'd be more fun on an R6

I strapped a camera to the tank on the Messagenet track day a few years ago.

First half a lap is single file (out lap), then a few laps before the red flags came out. It was the fast group, before the new "Kagyama" chicaine was put in.

Afraid it's 30MB though.

thats just it with steve....he says he's not that fast then blitz you all over.

Well, TBH, the lad in the first video couldn't keep up with the Honda Pan. My nan's quicker than him on her minimoto.

Secondly, an angrily-revving R6 with a race pipe makes it sound like I'm going twice as fast as I am!

Been over on the Monkey site on and off and TBH work and play have been pretty hectic over the winter.

Just got back into mountain biking to get some fitness up and spending a lot of time out and about and the wife always seems to be on the computer in the evenings planning her school work for the next day.

Will we see you at the monkeyfest in August ?

 

1min 46 is bloody quick for Cadwell, not watched the vid clip is that with the chicane ?

Was down to around low 1.50's last year, didn;t have the nerve to push any quicker

 

That was without the chicaine, bit disappoited with that time tbh, but I supose it was a track day.

Racing is another kettle of fish altogether, you tend to just take your brain out and get another few seconds a lap from somewhere.

The thing is, it might look fast, but it was only enough for a top 6 finish. Before the chicaine was put there, the fast of the fast club boys on 600s were running sub 1:40s. Then you throw in the lap record (pre chicaine) in the low 1:20s and realise you're slow as fcuk!!

 

Hey speedy, yeah i will be doing as many TD's as poss this year. i think i did the evening session last year just after you guys had finished. Will pop over there and look at the thread tomorrow.
