Hey fellas. Need your help. My bike won't start.

The symptoms are:
  • The bike goes through the usual engine check with the tach and all lights going on;
  • Once done with this, I hit the engine switch, try to start it and a buzzing sound near the battery is heard;
  • the engine diagnostics runs again after this and when I try to start it, still the same thing. It goes through the cycle of the engine check.
  • All lights work.

I am thinking it's the starter because all the lights work and the instrument panel also works.

Help would be much appreciated.

its prolly your battery. just cause your lights and stuff all work doesnt mean your battery is good. try hooking up spme jumper cables to you battery and if it fires go to your local m/c shop and get a new battery. also for futer refernce if you bike sits for 3-6 months out of the year soend the money on a battery tender and hook it up when your bike is sitting it will keep you fro haveing to get a new batery every 1-2years

Same issue, guys.

I was able to use the bike for about 14kms back and forth from my place to my girlfriend's and back to mine.

I tried starting when it was in the garage and the same thing.

So totally dead batt?

I will also have the rectifier and stator checked.

Damn.
