BB not sure who makes the disc. It was on their when I got it. I assume its a wavey disc but I;m not sure who the manufacturer is.

The Euro black/silver '03 is sooooooo much nicer than the North American version IMO....2 of my friends have the silvers here and I don't really care for the paint scheme at all.

Congrats :thumbup
Very smart mate...good choice.
Nice to see someone with their Ohlins on the right way round :)

I also have a 99 model and trying to save the pennies for a possible 2007 model. Looks very nice.
Very smart, silver too!!

Would you say the steering damper was ....vital/worth it/life saver??

Thinking but exhaust first!!

Stu, I put a damper on my 1999 model after I had a lock to lock slapper moment just after i got the bike. I've had none since so you could say it's worth it. The 03 model came with all the trick bits already fitted but, as the bike isn't taxed yet (waiting till June 1st), I haven't been out far enough to push it.(just done a few miles around local villages to try and get used to it. Sorry officer!)

In answer to the Ohlins damper fitting questions, if you look at both pictures of my old model and new model, you'll notice that they are fitted differently. On the old model, I have it fitted with the standard Ohlins fitting kit. This puts the adjusting knob on the right hand side (throttle hand) so its a bit awkward to adjust on the move. The Harris kit, as fitted to the newer model, flips the damper around so the adjusting knob is on the left hand side (clutch hand) so is easier to adjust on the move. Hope this makes sense.
