R6 - amplified engine whirring/buzzing(?) since this year

Hello,

since I got my R6 (2013) back from the shop (fairing was taken apart to be painted, quickshifter mounted, new chain...), I immediately noticed that I now hear a kind of whirring/buzzing during throttle application in addition to the exhaust sound.

I thought I might have imagined it because it had been in the shop since October, however I checked several video and audio clips from last year and there this noise was definitely not as noticeable.

Does this noise just get louder over time or do you guys think I should take a closer look at the problem?
