Sup guys!!! Just want to introduce myself and say that this forum is so awesome! I've learned so much just by browsing through these web pages these pass months. Finally got to register and got my 06 R6 Raven last week. I knew it was the bike for me. Fell in love with it the moment i saw it. I've always wanted a bike ever since but now I can finally afford one. nyahahaha Anywayz, hope to learn more and contribute to this community. Any military riders in here? Peace! :)

:welcome. Wear your gear! Ride safe. Take the MSF (or similar) course if you haven't already.

There is a military section, too. You might have better luck finding other guys on base there. (I wouldn't know though....I'm not military).

Oh yeah. Happy Memorial Day! Thanks for serving!
welcomen
Nice bike enjoy and be very safe. The more gear the better.
Congrats and welcome bro.

Just want to reiterate. Dont cheap out on gear bro... you can't put a price tag on your body.

Stay safe and take care buddy.

Ut
Thanks for the very warm welcome. I'm about to get me a two-piece alpinestar stage suit and a pair of sidi vertigo corsa boots! i love those boots!!! ANywayz, just got my initial 600 mile service done today!!! I also took it up Mt Lemon here in Tucson for the first time. It was my first time riding it through the twisties!!! It was the best feeling in the world!!! I can't explain it! It's almost better than sex. lol hahaha Can't wait to go to a track day. I have so much more to learn but I'm picking things up pretty fast. I have a guy that rides with me that has been riding for years. He's sorta mentoring me so I always have someone showing me the ropes. Body position and how to enter turns. I love this sport so much!!! I started reading into the MotoGP world too. hahaha Valentino Rossi baby!!! :thumbup

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to remember the name of that old 80's show for the longest time. That show used to be great when he came flying out of the old warehouse and he had that crazy helmet with all the digital crap. :thumbup
:welcome

Glad you found the site and did some research before getting a bike! Not to :beathorse , but you can never have enough gear on! (even if it's hot as hell out) I'm military as well (Army), and also have on 06 Raven... that makes three of us so far... interesting. Anyway, welcome to the 2-wheeled realm... ride safe and don't be a :squid!

P.S. - kudos for having a "mentor", and if you want to read some good material, pick up a copy of Keith Code's "Twist of the Wrist"... both volumes. :thumbup
