I introduced my self in the new members area and now I'm posting pics of my first Yamaha (5th bike).

I have an '05 R6, with the decals removed (it looks so much cleaner that way), smoked ebay flushmounts (damn the first owner. he drilled the farings to install these, and they are the only thing he did to it), 15/50 sprockets and a 520 chain, and motovation no-cut frame sliders. I bought it from a private owner with only 1100 miles for cheap.

The other bike in the first pic is another of the 4 total my wife and I own. Its my work bike ('99 GSX-R600) Let me know what you guys think.

You can say that again. I get the same feeling going from the R6 to the gixxer as I did going from the gixxer to my old Harley 883. 160 on the R6 feels like 110 on the gixxer. The 6 is so much more fluid in everything. Acceleration, braking, handling, etc. and the gixxer is only about 75 pounds heavier.

It was a LONG process (16 hours+ with removing and polishing) but godammit, it was well worth it. My old Ducati actually inspired me to take them off. It had nothing but the "ducati" and "996" emblems on the belly pan and mid-fairing and looked 1000 times better than my old CBR or my gixxer. I took everything off except for the "Yamaha" and "R6 DeltaBox III" graphics and decided to remove the R6 graphics as well.

Pictures just can't describe how beautiful this thing is. It is absolutely the most gorgeous bike I've ever owned. It pisses my brother off that it looks better than his big $$$ MV Agusta TRE.

As promised, the first day of nice sun, More pics for ya. I tried a new polish this time, and I have to say it rocks. Easy to apply and shine up and no white shit left over. Its Turtle Wax ICE btw.
