ok guys some thoughts please

Ive decided to get a new R6 and looking about most places want full whack for a new one £7499, odd place selling a smidge cheaper,

ive a 2001 model so will be looking to trade in (cant be arsed with the hassle of private sale)

looking about theres a few 2/3 month olds for about £6600 with 500-1000 miles on them,

what you reckon, would you buy 2nd hand or new

oh and whats my bike worth?

cheers

No trick bits on Johns bike lmao:hyper
Looks like the 05 on the 06 plate, but brand new none the less. Depends how much you want the 'new' R6, or give them a call and ask.

DEFFO go with the 6 month old bike over the new one.

It'll save you the hassle of running it in.....and it'll still be under manufacturer's warranty.
John600, if you mean the new balls out track bike on road R6, SP motorcycles in exeter had one secondhand a few weeks ago. Couple of trick bits on it (tail tidy, bubble screen etc), red/ white, less then 2000 miles. Think it was up for £6400. Might be worth ringing them. (Google SP motorcycles)

Seen very few secondhand to be honest, although haven't seen many riding around. Yamaha claim to have completely sold out but my local dealer has one in the showroom and hasn't had any interest in it at all!
