I purchased an integrated tail light off Amazon , I got everything apart and connected the female and male ends but I get no power . I have an extra blue & yellow cable that are the turn signals I believe. they light up yellow when connected to a positive source , But I’m not sure where to connect those 2 wires too ? I tried connecting them to the harness for the turn signal but still get nothing I’m not sure where to connect them or If I’m missing something. Please help !!

So I believe you need a intergrated tail light module that you wire the blinkers into that are wired to a positive tst makes one I have one on my 2004 r6 now I’m not 100% sure but I can go tear down the bike if need be lol

Would you happen to know where I can buy one or have a link to the one I may have ? I connected the blue & yellow cable to the positive post and they both get powers but when I connect them to the factory wire I get nothing not even the brake light will come on ,

So blue is left yellow is right I believe, those get wires to you existing blinker wiring via connectors, I’d you remember which sides which and what wires those are, then a extra cable is for license plate light

This is 2017 but you need 02 didn’t realize

But more or less the wiring is similar, I can pull my seat off an tail off an trace wires but the blinkers do have a connection point to the old harness not 100% on what the colors are for 02 but for 04 it’s brown for the plate light yellow and blue for left an right,

I think it's easy to install the tail lights you should be hire the expert one or if you want install it by self then you must watch the youtube video it easy the process for you.
