It is AWESOME! There isn't a bump to speak of on the entire track, and it's easier on tires than most people claim. It is very wide and the runoff offers some grip and is plentiful. The only downside is there isn't any major elevation changes, but there are many off and on cambered turns. Which configuration are you running? I was out there last week for the first MOM series race on the East track, and I was there in April for the R2SL event on the East and West tracks.
Have fun stang. I'm assuming you're doing the ama course on the 9th. 6sn7s and I were supposed to be there, but the rest of our group backed out and would have made for a very expensive track day with gas and everything from southern CA
^ Yeah I was bummed bunch of frealin flakes.
It's great you'll love it. When are you going? I'm going next week on the 6th.
It is awesome. I was out there the other day on the 29th for their track day on the west and will be back out there on the 19th to run the full course. That'll be my 5th time out there this year. It is an awesome track. I love it
I have also been there. I have about 25 days on both the East and West tracks. What everyone else said is pretty spot on, although there are a few bumps here and there.

Anything else you want to know??

I've been there, I rent track time there in fact. I own IdahoSportBikes.com and ISB & APEX work together renting the track. I was also there the 29th! Wish i could of seen some R6MN guys there!

I was taking the race Cert that day as well. You might have seen the black 06 R6 that wrecked? That rider was with me.

I was there. I am one of the Apex guys. I was also in there for the racer cert mock race, what were you riding?

Combat boy, there is nothing different about the full track. Just remember since this is your first time ont he track. TAKE IT EASY!! There have been a bunch of crashes up here lately. This is a fast track and the bikes haven't fared well. I am sure they will have good control riders that can help you out.

The full track is LONG, so if you stanrt to feel fatigued, go take a break. It is 4.5 miles and has 25 IIRC turns.

But if I can make 1 suggestion... Get a day garage, and get off the paddock. Find a buddy or 2 to split the cost with. It is $75 a day, and well worth it.

I just realised that this is just an open track day. Anyone can attend. I believe the day is being held be Right Line Track Time. This is a track day for the WERA races coming up.
wow what an amazing track... I will post pics soon
I haven't been there yet but I will be going to the AMA races there and I'm doin the Freddie Spencer school the week after

can't wait to ride the track though, although it sucks to hear there isn't much elevation change thats my favorite thing about Barber
