Make your girl happier

Last year my fiance mentioned to me how uncomfortable it is to ride on the back of the 03 r6. The seat has very little padding, and is very small. I looked into getting a replacement seat(with more padding), but found only cowls, custom seats that were way too expensive, or seats that looked wack on the bike.

Well last night we picked up something that will really help things. It's a gel seat pad. It has a strap that goes around the seat, and the strap has velcro on it. That way the pad goes on/off very fast. It's the same length as the back seat, but about an inch narrower (1/2 inch on either side when centered). The pad is about 3/4 - 1 inch thick, and is very soft. We tried it out in the shop, and she really liked it, she thought it would make a huge difference in her comfort level. Also it's great at retaining temperature, so you can heat it up or put it in the freezer, and it'll hold that temperature for an hour or two out riding.

I never knew such a thing existed, but it seems like such a good idea. There are several different sizes/styles. For $60, it's worth a shot to make her riding experience more enjoyable.
