Not too hard. You'll need a steering stem stand to do it. Take the front wheel, calipers fender etc. off. Then its only a few screws you need to loosen. I'm not sure how the 05 clip ons are mounted but you'll need to at least loosen them so they can slide out when you drop the forks. Pretty much, just loosen all the pinch screws that hold the forks where they are. It should just be the screws on the trees.

I'd assume the wouldn't ship them with the fluids in there but I don't know for sure.
