Hello everyone, my apologies if this is in the wrong section & for not introducing myself but having an issue with my 5eb R6

rebuilt the carbs, haven’t touched the float bowl height but I now get fuel coming back up the air vacuum lines that run from the front of the carbs back to the airbox.

im assuming it’s fuel getting past the needles and then filling the vacuum slide and then heading up the hoses to the airbox.

anyone any ideas why this is happening?

carbs have been vapour blasted and then rebuilt to stock spec, with new (after market) float bowl needles.

Solved this issue for anyone in the future.

One of the main jets wasn’t quite seating closed in the jet holder due to what look like a very small piece of laqucer residue. Only spotted it with a magnify glass.

This, therefore, allowed fuel to leak passed and fill up the float bowl. Then made it’s way up the vacuum hoses
