Hey all,

We have secured a new supplier of excellent quality race glass - yes better than Racers Edge!

I now have available 06 mdl R6 glass (other brands have up to 6 weeks wait). Options of stock seat, or hard seat base are available.

Also available are 2006 R1, 06 GSXR K5, 06 CBR 600 RR (incl tank cover), and CBR1000RR and ZX636 will be available shortly.

Included in the kit are : Screen, Top, bottom, front guard, tail, tail enclosure and with CBR the tank cover.

Total is yet to be determined, but will be approx $950 AUD plus shipping (R6 hard seat, and CBR models more).

I have pics to follow.

Place orders now! Trade enquiries welcome...

If you guys are interested I can pout together a price on shipping to the US, and maybe even a group buy rate (how does this work?)...

So Im just testing the waters here... and I hope you guys can offer your feedback...

Im allowing $100 AUD to ship each set of fairings by air to the US - so we're looking at $850 + $100 = $950 AUD landed at your door. This is approx $700 USD?

Is this competitive with what you guys can buy localling (incl delivery) or is our dollar not helping us?

Chris
Most recent exchange rate information

950 Australian dollars = 711.17 U.S. dollars
Thanks for that, but what I mean is how does this price compare to what you guys can buy locally?

bodywork

Chris, I personally think your pricing is not bad. There are others in the US that make cheaper but quality sucks. Sharkskinz, Armour Bodies, Catalyst Composites, etc are much better, but cost more than yours.

It's all going to depend on fit, finish, flexibility, weight and overrall quality of your product. The trick will be to get sales going and to develop postive referrals as your brand is not known here in the US. It's going to be hard to generate sales for such an unknown brand and so many options here in the States.

You might want to think of working with a few of the more active/prominent stand up racer guys on this board. Maybe front 2-3 sets of bodywork to some folks with full blown reviews in return.

I suspect your reward will more than outweigh the short-term costs if your quality and customer service are top notch.

Now Im on the hunt for a handful of riders to work on a deal to expose my brand/quality over there - Very similar to what we have been doing here, although on a larger scale...

I think Ill start a new thread for this :)
