Fender Eliminator

As a new member to the R6 forums I would like to thank all of you for all the information that is availible. I especially apreciate the bike manual. Here is a small conribution from me concerning fender eliminator kits. If you are looking for an inexpensive alternative to purchasing a fender eliminator kit and you are going to use an integrator consider this.

Step 1. Remove stupid fender that comes with the bike.

Step 2. Remove metal license plate bracket from stupid fender that comes with the bike.

Step 3. Take a small piece of aluminum (availible from Home Depot) and bend it in an "L" shape.

Step 4. Drill two holes in the aluminum and mount to the bike where the fender was attached.

Step 5. Drill two holes in the aluminum and mount the metal license plate bracket you took off the stupid fender that comes with the bike.

Tip: If you elongate (oval) the holes it will allow for some adjustment so everything will look good.

Now you can polish the aluminum piece or paint it black, doesnt reall matter because nobody will really notice it hiding behind your plate. Trust me this is easy and it looks good, I had many positive comments on the 03.

I will be performing this mod on my 05 as soon as I can afford the Custom LED integrator and I will post pictures.
