Electrical Help!

I'm a little over my head right now but I bought a 2000 R6 engine to try and make a diy go kart and I have pretty much everything I need to get the thing started I just don't really understand the wiring. For now all I want is that the thing runs so I don't need lights or other junk like that. Any chance someone could point me to a video or just walk me through it. Thanks in advance.
