close one

so I'm cruising down a major road tonight probably cruising at 40-45 mph, there is a truck in front of me probably like 3 car lengths ahead. all of a sudden he hits a huge pothole or something his tailgate falls down and a piece of concrete falls out of the bed. My head went slow motion as the concrete tumbled at me, I glanced left to see if there was a car in the left lane, accelerated and swerved to the left. The peice of concrete scraped my right fairing and hit my foot. I pulled over after everything was done and took damage estimate. A few scrapes on the fairing and a sore foot but all is ok. The driver either didn't notice his tailgate was down and kept going or just didn't care. I need to try to get these scratches out now cause they are driving me nuts.
