Check engine pops up during crank and motor won't start

Hi, I'm having this weird problem that check engine lights blinking while cranking.. the motor wont start at all and no spark on the ignition coil.. anyone facing the same problem. This problem occurred after i performed a head job recently to replace a valve. TIA..
And btw no fault code appears on LCD. Also no code on the history on DIAG mode.
