changing pegs.. Question with pics

i want to change my factory pegs, i have a quesyion about it though. On the left side (shifter side) there is a pin with a cotter in it.(see pic) On the other side (brake side) it seems to be pressed on.(see pic) How do i go about getting that one changed, i assume that i will have to grind down the pin to get it out. Can i just order one for the shifter side and replace it with the cotter pin style? where would i get that part.. any ideas?

you grind it down to remove. the pin from the other side will work, you can order from your dealer or online at mrcycles, ronayers.com

when i changed mine i bought a pin that fit perfect at ace hardware, just had to drill a hole
