Black powder coating Rearsets?

Seen some bikes with powder coated rearsets and thinking it would best suit the look of my bike. Any opinions? Sorry for the camera mount, to lazy to take off for pics.
Can't wait for the smoke lens flush flushies to come in so I can burn the nasty ones on there.
Thanks for opinions....

UPDATE: ShortyR6 does excellent work. We got the sets and pegs done. Low gloss black and a candy apple red that matches very well with the heel guards and flames.

I say powder coat them! It'll make them almost disapear into the side of the bike.
yea definitly do it, i did and im really happy with them
I say do it...but did you ever think of anodizing them? If you dont want to spend the money then just get them powder coated.
Thanks ppl, I knew it would be the right thing. I did think of anodi, but it would still maybe stick out a bit. The disappear into the bike comment is what I think would look smoothist.

I'll chk locally first, but if I need to send them, I'll pm shorty. Thanks.
Ok, so you are trying to get the rearsets to "disappear"? Get flat black instead of regular black because it will definitely come out shiny with normal black and they will still "stick out".

Holy shit you should get your 'sets done in the red color if he can get it. That would rock.
Hmm, red anodi powder , appears there is already a pos vote for that. I'm having trouble visualizing it though, need to work the noodle and eyes harder.
Shorty, pm me a cost for the red treatment if it's different than black and I'll get to you by tommorow on which one to prep. Thanks man.
Thanks for all the advice ppl, it's helping.

Ditto
I did it and it came out nice
What's wrong with Yamaha, why are they still making the rearsets silver and not making them blend into the frame. I powdercaoted mine a long time ago.
I got my rearset brackets recently painted black. I left the pegs, and heel guards because I know my boots/shoes will rub the black off, and have a crappy halfass look when the aluminum shows through.

Hey shorty, comin. I want to get all the bolts done black (waiting on UPS) and going back to pins on pegs, we discussed. Will call when they arrive.

I just shot you a pm on coating my front calipers since Alberto will have it raining for a bit. Might as well get it all done and looking nice b4 pic time.
