That really sucks dude. Plastic is expensive for sure. What kinda insurance coverage you got on it? If you got full, you might be ok-- but if you're just on liability, you can expect to pay out of your own pocket.

Is there anyway, you can do some self repair on some of it? Some mad bondo action or buffing? Sorry that happened.

Ouch, no good. So what's the dirt? Who'd you piss off?

As for fixing it, maybe try some 3M rubbing compound on everything and see if you can't buff some of it out first. I dropped my bike in of my truck (damn strap broke) and gave my tail some good scartches. Dialed up some rubbing compound and its' good as new.

Damn.

Only some dumbass, short-dick, pussy would resort to keying another man's ride.

That's fucked up. I guess you just got to remember that it's a bike, and you were going to wreck it sooner or later anyhow. :p

At least that's how I look at my bike now... I ain't wishing no bad luck! Just saying, FUCK IT! Repaint it yourself. I know it was posted above that you can claim it on the insurance, but I thought for sure your rates go up everytime the insurance people pay out. I don't know. I would ask though.

If you like white, there is a awesome looking pure white R6 in the photo section and it looks super clean!
If I had to repaint, that's what I would do. NemesisR6 painted his track bike with John Deer black winkle paint (I think that's what it was...) and it looks mean too.

Shit, I know it's disheartening that someone would do something petty like that. I hope you find the fuckers.

That's what I was thinking...

Honestly, I don't think the damage is THAT bad, I mean sure it was pristine before that, but hey it's just cosmetic. It definetely would not cost 3k+ to fix that. What is your riding experience? I don't want to jinx you or anything, but if this is your first bike or first season, just leave it like that until you wreck for the first time. No sense in fixing it twice.:thumbup :)

^That is a good idea but would he have to address the tank at least to keep it from rusting? Plus, if the future accident was not his fault, the insurance company of the other driver will fix it.

This is assuming doorsdude does not have comp. right now.

Anyway, that really sucks!
