? about the RF 1000 chin strap

It's to snap back to one of the metal ring wich your strap goes through. Well that's what's it's for on my X-11

Mine stays tight but there is a little loop in it...is that okay?

That snap is there strictly to keep the tail of the chin strap from whipping the shit outta your neck, chin, and helmet. Loop it through & tighten it just like you normally do on a double D ring setup, and then loop it back and snap it onto the D ring...

my shoei is the first one that I've owned. and that snap is the shittiest design I ever seen. a simple snap button is 10,000 X's easier to snap into place.

^ I agree, it's kinda annoying to snap into place at times...

But yeah I've had an RF1000 for almost a year now just sitting around, and I finally wore it, really like the lid overall.

snap it back onto the d ring... it might be a bit hard at the beginning but ull get used to it

or put your gloves on last.
