The images below depict the aftermath and mortal remains of Fracturemans 06 R6, those of a nervous disposition or fear of twisted metal look away now!

No animals were harmed in the process of this crash, and Fractureman made it home safe and sound.
Apologies for the large pics but they show more detail.

Youch! What I find incredible is the leaning tower of tail pack stayed on.
Amazing..absolutely amazing.
Jesus....Looks like it lost an arguement with a road roller

Just glad he's OK
What a dumb ass, take it to the track.
HAy

Why dumb ass..!!!!!!

Its not like he was going way too fast for the bend. We all made it round ok.

What he/we were doing that day is no worse than a bunch of Americans riding up and down the road on one wheel or sat or the tank..that sounds dumb ass to me.

Hay but thanks for your input...NOT

(Also a dumb ass for having a cracking weekend ride with a top bunch of lads.)

Quality pics, just goes to prove how valuable leathers really are...
Greg, do we get a diary of events as to how it happened ?
Front wheel slide, braking too hard etc...
Hi Mozza

looking at the rear tyre it looks like it could have gone down cos they were not scrubbed in.

Surf
Damn, that's one hurtin' R6!:(

How many miles were on it? The lines are even scrubbed off the front tire yet.
Gary - were you out on the bike on Wednesday about 17:30 ? Thought I saw you when I was leaving Wakey
I was out wed night mate but about 6.00 so dont think it was me.

I have bought a rear plate like you have mate. Cost me £100 off ebay.
Not fitted yet but will do soon.

I will give you a shout in a couple of weeks and sort out a sunday ride over here.

Gary
dr1fty comments like that are unecessary and not needed in this forum. If you find you cannot say something constructive then stick to your side of the pond.

Great pics chunk, just shows what a lowish speed off will do to a bike.
We all went round that bend at a good pace so something went wrong somewhere, warm day, dry roads and a good bunch of people out enjoying ourselves. You could be right surf about those tyres
Hope its fixed up soon greg

Woah, let's settle down. I said nothing of where this guy was from so you can drop the my country is better than your country bs. I do agree that that riding a wheelie down any public road, no matter what country is a dumbass thing to do. I also dont feel a bit sorry for anyone who is out trying to go fast on a bike that they havn't had that long and they total it, This would classify someone as a dumb ass. Also this guy is most likely stuck with a payment for something that he cant ride, this too classifies him as a dumb ass because he was riding beyond his abilities on purpose.
That is all
Ok mate.

Maybe I took it too hard but hay.

dR1fty i don't see how you can call someone a dumb ass just because he crashed his bike on the road. you don't know anything about greg's riding ability or the circumstance of his crash so there is no point trying to speculate. i was following greg when he crashed and in my opinion he had an unlucky lowside at no more than 30/40 mph. sure you are entitled to you views but it probably best to know the facts first.

No problem, Its good to see some fight in people
how did the clocks get smashed??
I'm no great racer anybody knows that. Wish I had stayed at the B&B with someone else who is a good friend also. Like everyone in the UK side of the board and most of the rest of the board too :thumbup

I had been riding towards the front for the first part of the ride. The

caused the accident as I had actually brought with myself a complete set of spares incase a light bulb broke, a spanner had been forgotten, or an allen key missing :lol Then after everybody had commented on the leaning tower I thought f**k it I will let other "faster people" by. A corner I MYSELF have ridden around many times before, yes right hand, yes clockwise tracks, yes we don't race rockingham etc etc a slow speed lowside into a bit of metal.

I WAS ok and still am and thanks to everyone that was there that helped, or waved on a motorway on the way home :thumbup

The TT is on this weekend so "I'll just get me coat" :hattip

Nobody has helped yet get my http://www.sportrelief.com picture combined with the current sig file picture as, we are only allowed 1 jpg per sig file :(

If anybody saw TOP GEAR last weekend my friend is the person who is actually selling that orange car that featured and is built/assemebled at McClaren not far from one part of the UK. I have sat in it, I only need to send my friend a text to get a test drive of that :)

Maybe I will return the jag tommorow and say, aston martin please, test drive, go back and say sorry i can't afford it :hyper
