Have any of you had a problem with the 1 - 2 upshift on your R6?

more often than I'd like, I find on acceleration (hard, or otherwise) that sometimes the lever will flick into neutral instead of going right into 2nd.
The result is a nerve jolting rev spike, because I am twisting the throttle in anticipation of everything working the way it should.

I can understand that perhaps there is more travel needed in the lever to make the shift from down 1, then up 1.5, or 2 to get into second gear, but I am not doing anything different in terms of my shifting habits.
I am just wondering if there is a synchro issue here, or if my set up needs some kind of adjustment.
It's irritating to say the least.

Thanks!

you can adjust your shifter, but what i noticed is that my bike likes to shift at a certain time. if i shift early or late it can be stubborn. try revin up a lil more before 2nd and see if you notice anything

GP-Shift. Once you switch the pattern, you will NEVER have that problem again.
If you are unfamiluar, a gp shift simply switches the shift pattern around. 1-up, 5 down. This is the way it was suppose to be IMO!!
Depending on the year of your bike, it's a easy/cheap mod.
Check out Woodcraft gp shift rod. $25.
