06 Akrapovic exhaust

I have yet to hear a slip on make really any differnce, the stock exhaust can has like nothing in it to begin with, all the sound is comming from the cat.

Probably the same as stock just different look.

Yes my comment was about the 06 only, obviously any other year will sound different from a slip on, just not the 06.

Has the elimination of the catalytic convertor helped with the heat output? My shins feel like they're being baked with the fire of a thousand suns. I could not care less about extra power or better sound, but I don't want my feet to fall off once my shins finally vaporize.

Nope, R6 still puts out A LOT of Heat on your legs. I rode with shorts the other day, I had to stick out my legs every now and then because even with a bit of speed all you get is heat on your shins.

But performance wise, you can feel the difference from the stock, and even weight. It is definatly worth it.

It's the racing system so stainless headers. I didn't realize how loud it was until I let my brother ride it.

Have you found a map for the '06 with the full Akrapovic? I just installed the Evo Ti full system on mine and can't find a map on the Power Commander site.

I also have this exhaust and it is awesome

have the full tit. akra system, sounds great, very light, thing is freaking crazyy..ill try to get up some sound clips.

is that just the titanium canister? or is that the carbon fiber one? does akra even make a full carbon fiber can or is their idea of carbon fiber just the end cap?
