Red face Shaking

My 2005 r6 front end shakes when braking hard.what could be the cause.

Start by checking tyre pressures and the front discs for warping. You can test the discs easily by riding along slow and pulling the front brakes on very lightly, you should feel the brakes grabbing and letting go (only slightly) and you may even hear them, whilst holding a constant pressure.

shake = rotors, pads, or wheel

a clunk, and shake (which I bet it is) = steering stem needs to be tightened. There's a how-to in the how-to section.
