I'm picking up a crf450 in a couple of days and am cleaning out the stables of spare parts i've collected over the years from my street and track r6s. if anyone needs anything, i'm basically selling almost everything for an r6. let me know what you want and i'll give you a price; i can be emailed at jonnym@telus.net. It is a long weekend this weekend, so i could take a day or so to get back to you.

i'm just getting photos taken, but if anyone's dying, i'll have some photos soon, but let me know what you want pics of... plastics are blue and most are in great shape.

well i did until about a month ago. i had a sweet akra slip on in mint shape that i just put on my street r6. then some asshole stole the bike; the cops caught some guy riding it, i got it back and it has this stupid arrow pipe from a full system for a 750 or 1000cc bike that doesn't even fit on properly. i fixed up the bike myself with some spare parts from my track r6. i have another slightly dinged up akra pipe on the r6 now, and i'm trying to get rid of spares, etc. to help pay for my motard street kit, so nope, no slip on, sorry.

Ok, how about an ignition, gas cap, and trunk lock with keys? I managed to lose my keys while on vacation in Kelowna. Ever have to steal your own R6? I felt like an idiot as I was cutting my own lock and chain

I may not need these items for sure as I am going to remove my ignition when I get home from work on thursday to see if there is indeed a key code on it. If not, I will be interested.

well i actually already had to put all 3 into my streetbike after those bastard theives mangled everything, so sorry, can't help you there. going for a ride in squamish,bc tomorrow on my new crf450. i'm getting excited. take it easy. jonny

yeah what a ride too. my second day ever of dirtbiking. we went off the highway up brohm ridge, parked, and then ripped up to near the snowmobile hut. there were all these deactivated roads that we were on with big trenches across that we were jumping over in 3rd gear. we were riding open logging roads as well as some super tight twisty singletrack trails. that new toy of mine has so much torque... its like 220 lbs and ~60hp. it would be like putting dirt tires on an R6... we were in 4th going downhill drifting the back ends of our bikes into the berms on the outer edge of the turns and looking off the big drop we're just inches away from, and then powering out. fun.

i went out on my r6 to the boundary bay airport tonight to watch the stunt/motard/track riders ripping it up. on the ride home i learned/discovered how to switch gears in a wheelie smoothly and start running through the gears while holding a consistant height. its been a good day.
