Highway Patrol?

Yesterday saw motorcycle Mounties on Highway 1, in both directions, between Burnaby and Chilliwack. I almost went flying by one: I thought he was not a cop because his legs were kicked out with his left foot stuck way out to the side. I didn’t expect these guys to be in short sleeves on the freeway either. Regular highway patrol??

So then today I got stopped by West Vanc. police on Cypress. Was told that because I was honest about speeding he wouldn't give me a ticket. He spent a little more time, however, with the guy behind me, who, I'm told, lied. Funny day: at the top I chatted with a red 930 owner who claims he always does two runs, one to check for cops and a second for speed. Maybe he forget to tell me something.

where on cypress did you have your chat with the boy in blue?

Near the works yard as I was coming down the mountain focussing on that last turn. Guess I was too focussed: I don't know where he was hiding. Just glad I didn't get a ticket.

you gotta watch out around that bottom corner. i've almost hit cyclists crossing the road in the middle of the hairpin. and i don't speed around the bottom. the cops don't usually come up too far past that yard...

I know...I was just really in turn mode, ya know? Fly the big sweeper.

Where you guys live in Van? My girlfriend is from Westvan...we both live in LA. I was up there for newyears....it was a trip partying in westvan / whistler.
