Another New R6 owner

Hey everybody. Just bought an 08 R6 and loving it. I've been wanting a bike for about 10 years now but never had the opportunity to own one. Went on another deployment and figured it was time to get one.

I did my research before buying, also i can not stress highly enough the MSF safety course. Figured i was good having ridden friends bikes for the last couple of years but i was crazy wrong. Definately worth every minute that i was there.

LOL enough about that. Just happy to be part of the R6 family now.

I forgot to add that i'm 26, LOL not that old but old enough that i'm not going out to do wheelies and all that crap with the bike. I bought it because i love riding sport bikes, and mad kudo's to Yamaha for making a dang fine bike. I've ridden cruisers, dirt bikes, so on and so forth and for some reason i absolutely love the feel of the R6. Everybody on this forum could probably wright a column about why and how they feel about the R6. What can i say i love my bike.
