New to the forum

Hello all! I figure I'd post here since I'm new to the forum and I can finally say I got the bike I've wanted since I started riding !! I started with a '96 Honda CBRF3, rode that for 4 years and sold it and I've been w/o a bike for the past 4 years. Just picked up my first '08 R6 (blue) about two weeks ago, and I have to say, I love it! Wow, so different than my other bike, I'm gonna have to get used to my posture. So far, I've changed the windscreen and eliminated the fender (). I hated seeing all that clutter back there.

I'm in the process of installing the front flush mounts and a GYTR slip on, which I'm having trouble with. The instructions say to remove the EXUP system which I don't know how to do. If anyone has and insight or knows of a good link, please help...TIA.

Also, I've been told since I'm installing a slip on and getting rid of the EXUP, I should look into getting a power commander, which I'm not really familiar with. I would really appreciate you're guys' suggestions & feedback...
