Hi all, I'm from Perth, Western Australia (that's right, the world's most isolated capital city). I'm normally a big V Twin man with both a Honda VTR and a Suzuki TL in the garage, but recently I have picked up an ex race bike ('00 R6) for my wife and I to ride on track days and to save chucking the road bikes down the track.
The bike itself is in pretty good condition mechanically but I have stripped all the bodywork off to give it a repaint in the Rossi Laguna Seca style. Might post a pic when its finished.
In the meantime I am sure I will have lots of questions for you experienced R6owners as I come to grips with it.
I am from Sydney and just picked up a 05 R6 - R46 and after being a GSXR owner this think rolls into corner with easy, i havnt post a pick yet as not sure how to, but will be doing the same thing with all the question as i slow get use to it.
Hey, welcome, excellent site for R6 fans and R6 tech, I've learned alot since joining. Met a few foks on this site from Perth, friendly bunch!....enjoy

G'day all,I'm scoot and I hail from the western suburbs of Melbourne.
I got myself a '01 R6 at the start of the year, been loving so far.
Haven't yet done to many mods to it apart from a Yoshi TRC pipe, fender eliminator and a set of small arrow indicators.
It makes the standard R6 tick, think it's the ACCT,I'll check that out soon when I've got some free time.Right now I'm in the process of rebuilding a '95 Suzuki Rgv250 as a track day weapon.
Anyways thought I'd say hi and just introduce myself.
Cheers
