Default Driving From LA to Denver

Going to make a stop in Vegas and Utah. Can anyone chime in on a cool place to stop in Utah? I got one day and one night to spend there. Right now I'm looking at checking out Arches National Park. Maybe camp a night there??

I did the drive from LA to Denver in my Wrangler when I moved here in 2002. I tried to avoid the main roads when driving through Utah, just coz there's so much nice stuff to see along the way and none of it is by the interstate.

I drove through Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Canyonlands and Arches National Park. I started in the evening from LA, drove to Vegas and spent the night there. Spent the next night in a small town called Escalante in Utah. The drive took much longer that it should have, but it was worth it.

I camped for 3 days in Moab last year by Arches National Park by the river and it's beautiful. Just remember to take Mosquito repellant

Hope you have a good drive!

And why are you selling the 6 ?

Thx sachAreSix for the tips. I'm definitely going to try to drive off the interstate. Right now I plan to stop and camp at Arches National Park for a night. How long did the whole trip take you?

I'm going to be living by where the 25 and 225 intersects. Renting a room in a 2 bed / 2 bath condo.

There's a few reasons why I'm selling the 6

- I have yet to find a job in CO so the money I get from selling the bike will be like backup money until I find a job.
- Only going to have like a month or two of riding left before it gets too cold.
- I didn't have any means to bring it over to CO and I don't want to pay for a u-haul or some other type of transportation.
- Not sure how long I'll stay in CO and don't want the bike to just sit in my parent's garage
- No garage in my new place in CO
- Not going to be selling the bike at a loss since I bought it used for a really good price

If anything, I'll just buy another used 6 next season when it warms up.

That's a pretty decent location. I'm guessing u will be living in Aurora. That isn't too far from myself and a few other folks on here. What kind of work are u looking for? I know my company has some openings. Those are good reasons for selling the 6 I guess

I have my bachelors in mechanical engineering and 3 years of work experience in design and manufacturing engineering. But right now I'm pretty open to new career opportunities. Just looking to try something new. See what catches my interests. What does your company do and what are the openings?

Well the company I work for is QC Data. We do a lot of work with telecommunications companies. I personally am a GIS technician and do engineering work print generation. We have GIS positions open and I am pretty sure the company is looking to hire more engineers. Check out our website and it should have the listings for what's available in the denver office. I will ask my supervisor tomorrow if they are still looking for engineers.
