Heading down to VA,WV, and D.C. area. Suggestions where to go

Like title says im heading down to those places this coming weekend. I actually have a track day with TPM at Summit point, WV on Sunday 22nd and will be staying at Courtyard by Marriott Herndon Reston VA 20170 for the weekend. Im doing a tour for D.C. Need to know what other must do activities and places to see and places to eat. Any suggestion is appreciated.

there isnt much around the track at all...kinda hidden.

the hotel is about 2hrs from d.c. so ill go check it out. Virginia beach was 4 hours i think. Im willing to drive just aslong as there is a happening place i could go to.
