yep, i hit all those places up last week. found out i was a shoei man and liked the rf-1000 diabolic 3 so i went home and bought it online for about $90 cheaper than what they wanted
edit: btw motions is the worst motorcycle store on the planet imo. i went in and they didnt let me try on a lid until i told them how much i was looking to spend and what make/model i wanted. i told the punk ass 20 year old kid that i was seeing about getting the arai aoyama lid, he went to the back and said he didnt have them but could order. then he asked me how much i wanted it for, i said $420. he didnt even bother negotiating. $420 is low, but not a lowball, i can get it for that much shipped to my door online. he tried to make me feel guilty like i was being cheap like "dude there is no way i can sell you a lid for anything close to that, that's less than COST when we buy the lid, it's worse than wholesale price". so i told him "let me point out everything your dumb ass did wrong:
1. making me feel guilty about not buying a helmet for it's full retail value is the worst negotiation skills i've ever seen.
2. my budget is around $550 so you just fucked yourself over because i may have bought this helmet for $500 because i know u have a warranty, but FUCK it now
3. you didn't even let me try on any of the lids before i gave you a price, how the hell do i know if i'm not a shoei head? or an agv?
4. you're an arrogant punk and i wouldn't buy a fucking thing from someone who treats a customer this shitty"
i made sure all of his management could here him withing 100 feet, flipped him off, told him i was going to WOW and Cycle Gear and left that godamn store.
