jb,

Seems like no one from Wilmington is coming forth so I fill you in best I know... My family is originally from that area so I know it pretty well. The bottom line is "No". There are no good roads in Wilmington; unless you own a Hayabusa.

Seriously, everything down east in Carolina -motorcycle-wise - is flat, straight, sandy, and hot as hell. The good side of it is, there are TONS of crazy smokin hot lit'til hottie-pants' runnin wild down at Wrightsville beach and Myrtle Beach or any of the beaches all summer. There is more to life than motorcycles...right? Ok, not much more.

I think you said you were going up to the mountains to Deals Gap and all while you were there...? That is where you will find good roads.

Sorry dude,
VE

Google Old Maple Hill road. Thats as good as it gets for SNC. The road is about a 20 min ride down the interstate from Wilmington, and actually a fun road. Decreasing radius corners and nice sweepers. Again this is all realitive to SNC.
