Default Just a lil curious!!!

I bought an '05 R6 a few months ago and the previous owner had put a D&D exhaust on it. Now, I was told that if you spray water, not too much, but if you spray water into it that it will sound better and meaner....not that I don't like the sound now, but i'd like it to sound a lil meaner.

Is this a bad idea, or will it improve to sound of the bike?

Have not done this but I suspect what it does is soak the packing which gives it a different tone. But when it dries you're back where you were. I would say the risk of getting too much moisture in the engine is not worth the effort. IMO
