Default Gearing for TWS?

What gearing are you guys running at TWS? Preferably on the '06 R6 bikes.

Typically I ride MSR-Houston and I have -1/+1 for that track. But I'm going to TWS this weekend and can switch back to just -1 if need be. It's been so long since I've ridden at TWS I can't remember what would work well. Ideas?

No idea.

I'm doing cornerworking a full day on May 14th so if you're there maybe I'll see you

I used to run -1 up front on my 2001 R6. At TWS I would run out of rpms down the front straight, but it was good everywhere else.

Enjoy it. I prefer TWS over MSR-H. TWS has a more "european" feel to the track; the corners flow better. Not stop-and-go like MSR-H.

Chrisbr, you should volunteer to do some cornerworking, I guess it will give you some exposure to the experience, plus they give you a free pass to ride a whole day if you volunteer for a whole day.

I've never been on the track either, actually no where near one, but I'm interested. So since I saw in the www.lstd.com site you can volunteer to cornerwork and get that pass for a day of riding I thought I'd volunteer for one of their May track days plus it saves you $170!!

Basically it's making sure that the road is clear of debris and fluids, and looking at the bikes while they're riding to make sure there is nothing loose and waving flags. Never done it but will May 14th.

Hey Mulatto
I'll be there on Saturday also. I can't help you with the gearing but if you get a chance come over and say hello. I'm on a '05 r6 as seen below with black leathers and silver helmet. It's my first time at TWS so if you have any pointers let me know. I'll be camping tomorrow night at the track look for a white toy hauler with black and red graphics.
