Well folks I just got here (victoria) yesterday (9th) from so-cal. I got out of the Marines on friday and drove out here with my brother in law. I Am staying with the in laws until the wife and I get on our feet with some jobby jobs. We have some $$$ to put down on a house but need $$$ to pay bills. Well I am just chiming in to say whats up to the ne wfamily here. I am down to ride anytime. Anyone from around this area? Hope to see some of you around

wow, another one of you dumb fookers from California.....

j/p but seriously, why here? Its too freaking hot here. Weather in California rocks, there is too much humidity here and its always over 90 in the summer...I wish I had the chance to live in California

Well I am originally from Northern Cali, and the wife is from here. So I said what the hell I will give it a try. Yeah the weather here sucks along with the fact that I gave up the beach and twisties for this shit

But on the 21st I am going to the Victoria County Sheriffs Dept. for an agility test to try and get hired on as a detention officer. We'll see what happens.

Yeah if you EVER get the chance to move to any part of Cali do it. I promise you will not regret it 1 bit. Minus the earthquakes and it is the best place on earth

Yea I know, we vacationed in the OC about 3 weeks ago and we had a great time. Are the earthquakes THAT bad though? Are they even that consistant? They dont come too often do they? I know nothing about the quakes in cali other than an occasional one like every other year or so....Is it like they come once a week or something?

nah they arent THAT bad, and they dont come as often as some may think. But when they do come, all hell breaks loese. Those bishes make things crumble. I was in that big one in '89 up in the Bay area. Talk about scary. I thought the world was ending (I was 6). But hey you live to see and ride another day

Thanks man. Yeah it was cool meeting you and your brother too. I sure am going to miss the So Cal twisties and fellow riders.
