How many members are in the seattle area? Any input on some nice roads to hit up? Anyone want to go for a ride?

yeah i've hit that up a few times. it's basically the only place i ride. there are some nice straights there too where you can get some nice speed going. oh but once right before i went into a corner i saw that there was gravel all over. cars drive crazy around there and they get excited and spray gravel everywhere. even the big ass farming trucks do that. but it is fun to see the occational race. i see a lot of nice bikes there. fun stuff. i still haven't explored all of the roads around there. i find a new one everytime.

I live in Woodinville right near the fun stuff... anytime you wanna ride i'm up for it.
hit me up by PM and i'll ride and show you more fun roads back that way...
Also, there's a huge group of sportbikers on www.cycleforums.com/nsr We usually do rides every weekend, Windy Ridge, Neah Bay, Highway 20 etc etc.

Lots out here... just gotta know where the usual gravel spots are and where the cops hide.
Are you looking for just local roads to get your fix or further/better day rides...
Local to the Eastside- (type the roadname and city in mapquest to find it)
High Bridge/Elliot Rd (Cathcart)
Issaquah Fall City Rd. (Fall City)
Union Hill Rd. (Redmond)
Ben Howard Rd. (Monroe/Sultan)
Big Rock Rd. (Duvall)
Sultan Basin (dunno rd. name) Sultan
Ames Lk. Rd (Redmond)
Paradise Lake Rd. (Woodinville)
OLD Woodinville Duvall Rd. (Woodinville)
I'd suggest starting in Issaquah heading down Issaquah Fall City to Fall City Going back on Redmond/Fallcity Rd and taking a right on Ames Lake Rd. Follow Ames Lake Rd. and take a left to West Snoqualmie Valley Rd... This connects up with High Bridge/Elliot rd.
Further fun rides...
Highway 9 starting from Arlington and Go north...
Chuckanut Drive (bellingham) more scenic but still fun, traffic can be lame
Windy Ridge/Mt. St. Helens
Indy Valley
Highway 20
Hood Canal
Neah Bay
