Wat: Northeast Sportbikes Beginning Of Season Annual BBQ (BOS BBQ 3)

When: May 31st, 2008 (Saturday)

Time: Uh...probably Noon till 6ish..we'll work that out later

Where: Franconia Township Park off Allentown Rd. This is a public park so no alcohol and please act respectful/accordingly to other park users there.

Why: Why the fawk not. To meet new members, bring in some new members (even though we hate newbs), to goof off,
and to eat some food.

Activities: We'll figure that out later. possibilities: dunk tank, american gladiator joust, little pink bike races, wiffle ball, and football. This will be decided upon later as it get closer by members of NES.

Family Friendly: This is a family friendly event so feel free to bring your wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/mistress/kids. However, please make sure to keep an eye on your kids (and wife/husband/so on)

Price: Donations only. No set donation, you donate what you think we deserve IYO. We are going to try to raffle off a big ticket item ie: helmet, chatterbox, etc.

This is not an exclusive club of any sort, this is just a BBQ for the locals to get to know each other. Please feel free to invite any other local sportbike friends. We've had good turnouts for the past two years and would like to keep the tradition going.

Oh BTW, it would be really great if whoever is attending can post that plus how many people are coming with. It's helps with the head count and how much food to get.

Raindate for the BBQ is June 7th (The following Saturday)

Meh said the man with .09 posts per day. You don't have to be active in the forum, but if you intro yourself the board will open up a little. It's to stop people like me from lurking.

We really need to start getting some sort of guesstimate head count. It takes a bunch of time to plan out how much food and drink we need, etc.

For those of you interested in meeting some of us earlier then the BBQ, we are having a Grand Opening celebration of Coolaid Customs in Memory of a fellow rider on April 27th from 11-until whenever. It will be a Pig Roast. The one owner John (Legion Stunt Team) will be praticing in the lot for all to enjoy. The other owner Steve will be preparing all the food and helping all with any bike questions.

The shop is located across from the Boulevard Lanes bowling alley. 8114 Roosevelt Blvd, next to Pennypack Beverage in the south bound lanes. Their website which is a work in progress is www.coolaidcustoms.com Hope to see you guys there.
