Hi Guys

I haven't been around much but I was wondering if anyone here has visited Friday's on Wednesday nights in Greenbelt, MD. A buddy of mine was trying to get me to go out there, but I'm usually pretty reserve about hanging out in big groups. I enjoy meeting new people but I usually try to steer away from knuckleheads doing crazy stunts drawing attention from local law enforcement officials. Any feedback or experience? I hear the turnout is large (200+ bikes)

Whats up man?! Never been down to the Friday's on Wednesday nights in Greenbelt. I have been to the usual B&N on Rockville pike since I like in Gaithersburg/ North Potomac. I'm not to big of a fan for those mass meets either. I mean it is great to meet new people, but after that it just gets boring. On top of that... you end up having more squids there that want to show off and do highway runs then you have people who actually want to ride. Then again most of those meets are at night so I guess there isn't really any twisties to ride at those hours.

I hear ya. I just enjoy riding...no tricks or stunts...just the ride. Every once an a while I'll go on a group ride but I haven't been recently due to have a 3 & 21 month old at the house. I may jump on the bike for my work commute but that's been the sum of it. I wonder it it worth putting a Skyline Cruise together real soon?

Oh congrats! Yeah I use to join up on a few group rides, but I've had some bad experiences with idiots either leading the group or within the group. With that being said... it makes me not care much for even joinning a group ride. As for Skyline... its pretty nice there, but its not all that great. You can't go all that fast since there are cops always roaming and of course tourist, but of course if you want to cruise around... that is a beautiful spot to do that. Let me know if you ever do arrange 1!

You guys probably wouldn't like riding with me, but the Greenbelt Friday's is less than 2 miles from where I live. I've been to B&N in Rockville several times, we also used to goto Hooter's in Towson on Wednesday's last year.

I don't particularly like sitting around though, I prefer to ride... wheelies.
