Default Bridgewater, NJ, where to get sliders install?

Does anyone have a good recommendation as to where to buy and have frame sliders installed? Any idea what pricing I should expect for the labor?

Thanks guys!

Hmm...that's a bit far for me to ride to ride now. I'm still really new with riding and looking to get frame sliders on locally so at least if it drops, the sliders will save it.

Anything closer? I actually live in Hillsborough but anything around say Bridgewater mall should be ok.

I think I may have someone do it from Flemington Yamaha...they're recommending Pro-tek ones.

Anyone have any input on those?

Dude, its not too far.. I actually ride thru Hillsborough on the way home from work, all backroads (I work out near WCW) and its a fun ride man! I think you'll be fine...

But there's also Cycle Gear in Edison... They stock a lot of stuff... But like b-man said, its not difficult to do...

Order them online and do them yourself? Sliders are by far one of the easiest and most rewarding mods you can purchase. Who doesn't like learning by wrenching on their own bike?

I normally work on all my cars and such and if it was something mechanical, I wouldn't mind doing. I'm just not keen on using a hole cutter for the first time and using it on my plastic

The dealer said they would charge $40 to do them although one of the guys there might just do a side job for me and do it for $20.

Lex, maybe after I get accustomed to riding the bike, we can grab some ppl and meet up. Sometimes I set up meets with a bunch of car guys and we meet up at Applebees at night. Maybe we can do something similiar for the bikes around here.

Not all sliders require drilling..! Try to find some that don't. I'm not sure whats available for the R6, but I got some for my Daytona that mounts to a bracket (which mounts to the engine mounts) and positions the slider in a way that doesnt require drilling at all...

I'm down for a meet sometime. Which Applebees do you go to?

I usually schedule meets at the Bridgewater Applies...off exit 13 (287)

I normally do it with my friends who have single turbo Supras but we can get a bunch of ppl who ride and do it also.
