I had the same problem when i was lookin for an R6, people that have them arent selling and the ones that are selling are almost brand new with a stupid high price tag.

I ended up finding an 05 in ohio.

yeah i'm definately not against driving to ohio, indiana or even illinois.. every offer i've had is, like you said, an 06 for 6k or something like that.. kinda sucks because i would much rather get an R6 than a CBR600, but i might have to get the latter just due to the fact that CBRs are all over michigan for decent prices.. holding out for that one R6 that'll work for me tho haha

Took me 4 months to find it, i bought every cycle trader, i scoured every sportbike site on the net, ebay, craigslist....you name it.

If you hold out and look everyday everywhere you can one will pop up for you.

yeah i might have a connection up in St. Ignace (of all places, right? haha) with a bike he wants to get rid of.. i'm crossing my fingers because it's an 01 R6, typical blue and white (looks awesome on any bike).. hopefully something'll work out and i don't just settle for a cheap bike 'coz it's summer and i want to ride!
