What's up? I just rediscovered this place, haven't been on here in years, literally. Just got signed up on the R1MN too, as I now ride an 04 R1. Just wanted to drop a line though and say hey to all the IN peoples. I live over near Terre Haute but during the summer time go over the plainfield a lot since my 7y/o son races dirt flat track there, behind dancers. Looking forward to maybe getting some good brown county rides in year and some track time at putnam too. Hit me up.

Hey Kurt...welcome back!

Chuck and I live in Indy. He rides a Gixxer (Boo...I know, I give him shit a lot), and I'm in the works for saving up for an R6, or something of the sort. I have the MSF class under my belt, so thats one thing out of the way. I'm by no means ready to tear it up on the track or street, but I have a feel for riding now. I found this place while researching R6's and I've been an addict since.

I think it's awesome that your son rides dirtbikes. I',m planning on getting my son a 50cc for his 6th birthday in July. He really wants one.

If you go to Putnam in April for CycleOPtions, Chuck and i will be there. He won't be on the track this year due to the mishap he encountered last year...he can't stomach shelling out another 4K if something does go wrong. He's looking into buying a track bike in the fall. But, my friends come up from ATL to do that trackday, so we'll be there with them. Awesome to meet ya!

Cool, thanks for the welcome. the TTR-50 is a good way to go for your son, e-start is the best IMO. If you live in Indy check this place out www.indianapolisnationalspeedway.com thats where we run. It's a blast, we did pocketbikes in brownsburg too, but the guy running it didn't have the time to keep it going, so the season ended early.

Yeah man talk about some bad weather, blizzard conditions here yesterday. I like driving my truck in it though so it's not all a loss.

I go to purdue but will be living in valpo this summer, I might also hit up putnam this year if I have the money after buying my bike.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys, I've gotten to do a track day at putnam too, plan on getting some in this year. We'll have to plan a day to all meet up there.
