Question Lite up the plate

Well I took off that horrible looking license plate holder on the R6. I bought a bracket and 2 cool little LCD blinkers. One problem, no white light to illuminate the plate at times of darkness. I asked a local CHP officer and he said under california law as long as the plate is visible and has a light on it its cool. The 06 R6 has that fat tail light that gets the job done. The problem is that "on base"(Camp Pendleton) you have to have a white light. Any suggestions without having to spend an arm and a leg on a new bracket(just moved to a bigger house and cant afford squat!) Thanks alot in advance

I'll look for you a little man, but there is a company that makes a really nice "aimable" led screw. Mount your plate to the frame with it and then point it how you want. I hate riding on Pendleton, damn Nazi's. Althrough the ride to the 55 area from mainside can be fun if you have a forward observer keeping it clear. Could be worse.....you could here in 29.
