got a couple questions about air force medics. i just graduated from fire academy at the top of my class but i still need to become a paramedic in order to get hired at a department. i was thinking about possibly joining the air force reserves and go through the medic training. would that medic training certify me to be a paramedic in my state? i mean, i could kill two birds with one stone b/c i would get my medic card and also be able to put "military" on my resume.

Air Force 4N0X1's are EMT-Basics, the only paramedics in the Air Force are Pararescuemen, which is a careerfield that you just don't join to put something on a resume.

thanks, i did not know that. yeah pararescue is badass. but a little more than i care to partake in.
